Imagine it sitting on a dressing table many decades ago, part of a family’s daily routine, carefully used to soothe a baby’s skin before bedtime. It may have travelled through generations, survived house moves and changing fashions, quietly waiting to be appreciated once again.

This vintage Johnson’s Baby Powder tin, dating from around the 1940s to 1960s, is a wonderful reminder that history isn’t only found in grand buildings or famous collections. Sometimes it’s hidden in the simplest everyday objects that have witnessed countless ordinary moments.

Now it has found a new home in The Tea Rose Curiosity Cabinet, where objects are treasured not just for what they are, but for the stories they carry.
