Once upon a time, Ovaltine wasn’t simply scooped from a tub and stirred with a spoon. This little glass mixer belonged to an era of bedtime drinks, pantry shelves and wonderfully elaborate ways of making something warm before bed.
Paired with the old Ovaltine Concentrated Tablets tin, it’s a charming little piece of British advertising history. The sort of thing that somehow survived decades of kitchen cupboards and house moves, waiting to become somebody’s curiosity again.
A lovely display piece for a vintage kitchen, advertising collection or cabinet of curiosities.
